The Office of Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation is part of an international network of JPIC offices for the Society of the Sacred Heart. We take a collaborative and pro-active approach in response to the pressing needs of our world. This office serves as the official JPIC office of the Society of the Sacred Heart, United States-Canada Province and the home of the JPIC Commission, which provides the Province’s leadership on JPIC matters. Our priority areas include: racism, environment, immigration, human trafficking, poverty, and non-violence/peace-making.

We have seen the unequal suffering of those impacted by the pandemic, particularly our black and brown brothers and sisters, the elders of all communities, the First Nations people, prisoners, the homeless, the unemployed, refugees, and those who have found themselves on the front lines of service.
