Human Trafficking and the Super Bowl

Every year as the Super Bowl draws near, those who are concerned about human trafficking are accustomed to reading articles about the connection between big sporting events and sex trafficking.  This year, Polaris and other groups are sending the message that the solutions to this problem require steady attention to strategies beyond encouraging hotels to train their personnel to recognize trafficking, helpful as this may be.  To help us think more strategically about this issue I have attached the following links to articles that offer some thought provoking statistics and some new insights into this complex issue as well as two links to websites that provide up-to-date information about succesful strategies that are being implemented around the country.
