We are proud to collaborate with Beth Norcross, Executive Director at The Center for Spirituality in Nature, to offer the 2018 Global Citizen Program for young adults (18-30) with a focus on ecological transformation.
This program is jointly organized by the Offices of Educational Initiatives & Leadership and Justice, Peace and the Integrity of Creation (JPIC).
Participants will be part of an international group of young adults who:
- Explore various ecosystems in plants, animals/insects, and water through field experiences throughout Washington, DC.
- Develop a deeper understanding of spiritual DNA in nature and themselves, and the need for compassion in achieving eco-justice.
- Engage in reflection and critical analysis.
- Form community at The Stuart Center with other young adults who share their interests and concerns.
- Have fun all along the way!
DATE: June 3-8, 2018 (arrivals on Sunday, June 3rd after noontime and departures on Saturday, June 9th before noontime)
LOCATION: The Stuart Center in Washington, DC with field experiences in the metro DC area.
PARTICIPATION FEE: $250 USD includes overnight, meals, materials and local transportation
