We recognize President-elect Biden as the lawfully elected leader of the United States. We condemn the use of violence and call on the people of our great country to express their views through peaceful means. We pledge to continue our work contributing to creating a society founded on love and inclusion.

In this time of great tension in our nation, we look to our loving Creator for comfort and guidance. We remember the words of nonviolent peacemaker Dr. Martin Luther King, “True peace is not merely the absence of tension; it is the presence of justice." And we remember the teaching of Pope Paul VI who said, “If you want peace, work for justice...”

As part of the recent "Backdrop LIVE" virtual conference, we hosted a session giving a top-level overview of CiviCRM functionality and integration with Backdrop CMS.
Everyone loves family first. But too many of us have forgotten that as children of one Father, we are bonded in a kinship relationship with every created being. The Incarnation reveals definitively that the Heart of God beats at the center of the entire network of life. Discovering this ecological spirituality orients us toward reverence for all life, and provides the foundation for all of our work for justice, peace, and integrity of creation. Sr. Mary will lead us in a reflection on this religious vision of God's Creation and some spiritual practices that foster it.
